Chapsie
OOC: Is organic rp still a thing? Era 1: The Spread of Revolution: This era baffles everyone. It was unexpected, but should have been so expected. The rise of groups on social media formulated around a single ideology. Although not yet really unified or even coherent, these pages discussed political matters through humour and taking account for politicians by calling them out on their ways that did not align with the people. These early-birds of the ideology really got the advantage of setting terms and norms for this (at the time) sub culture. There was an odd atmosphere of respect, but also a feeling of liberation where you could say what you want, how you wanted to without getting bashed. Although there were instances of anti-anarchists infiltrating these groups and pages. They would normally be removed swiftly and without question or complaint. It was not so much censorship as it was protecting themselves from being made fun of or being questioned in an accusing manner. These groups got more and more popular as time went on, even with the older generations it sort of caught on. With this new onslaught of popularity, it started to show results in government statistics in behaviors and reactions towards government decisions. This new group was officially coined "Anarchists" by the Nova Scotian Imperial Database of Intelligence. NSIDI took action at the sight of this new anti-government group and started blocking certain ISP's from accessing certain servers that had pro-anarchist information contained within. People started noticing that their sites were no longer accessible and public forums and chat rooms were up in arms. NSIDI had denied committing this act of censorship, but that did not quell the people enough to stop the public protesting. At the same time as the censorship, operatives from NSIDI had attempted to dig their ways into some of these chat rooms and forums. They wanted as much knowledge as possible on how these people may act at any given moment. This was being taken serious by the government at this point, as it was effecting the way people were treating "public servants". Police were being ignored and even fought back against, there were hospital workers being convinced that boycotting public health was good for the cause and to get the government to wake up, there were military personnel being assaulted and disrespected in the street, and to top it off, unconscious old CHAPPiE units that were made for easier and menial tasks were being vandalized. This coins the start of the second era.
