Eva-Beatrice Posted January 20, 2017 Share Posted January 20, 2017 Before we get to the main topic of today's announcement, we've received word that the Witch Council has made a couple decisions regarding previous acquisitions by Rokkenjima as a part of the Rokkenjima Territory Stabilization Program. The first of which was the decision by the Council to upgrade the city of Hong Kong from its colony status to that of a prefecture. Not much has changed in terms of rights and freedoms that the citizens of Hong Kong will earn, as everyone who lives in Rokkenjima's colonies are treated as full citizens to begin with. Secondly, the Council has also decided to treat the American colonies as well as the colony of Bermuda as one. This move will make it easier for Rokkenjima to manage its overseas territories. Now for the main topic of today's announcement. Since the fall of Caledonia, Rokkenjima has been actively involved with assisting the people in various major cities across Australia. In the interest of the safety of the Australian people, the Witch Council voted to accept the cities receiving Rokkenjima's assistance as colonies. And so, the Rokkenjima Territory Stabilization Program officially announces today that the cities of Canberra, Melbourne, Perth, and Sydney will be Rokkenjima's next acquisitions. The aforementioned cities are currently being stabilized and protected by the Rokkenjima Armed Forces, and are being prepared to officially be accepted as colonies on the 1st of February, 2017.
