Continuation of Government Act of 2012

"In light of the recent assassination in Caledonia which resulted to the end of the Royal line and the kingdom itself. I have realized that if all of the eighty six members in the Thunderan Royal line were to die, their would be no one capable of leading Thundera and result in the collapse of Thundera and it's government. It is because of this that I have created the Continuation of Government Act which would insure that their is always someone available to take the Thunderan throne and their is always a functioning government for a peaceful and easy transition in power for the royal." ~King Tiggera

 

The Continuation of Government Act hereby calls for the creation of two lower branches of government known as parliament, which shall consist of two houses and handle legislative matter and a Supreme Court which shall contain nine justices and shall have rule over noble titles, state land ownership, constitutionality of bills passed by parliament. There will also be a Hand of the King (or Queen) to handle the responsibilities of the ruling monarch if something prevents them from carrying out the duties themself. In addition, if the ruling monarchy's family is completely wiped out, the crown and right to rule will then go to the person they married and if their is no one, or their line ends, the crown will keep passing back to the past ruling monarchy's marriage partner and their family members into it reaches the very first King of Thundera wife stretching back over 5,000 years of royal marriage and her family.
