Southwest Updates

The following is a report pertaining to the capture of the leaders who had lead the charge in attacking the kingdom at the Southwest border. This is to help educate the public on what is being dealt with and how it is being handled

• The names of the leaders consist of the following: He Song (Female, 32), Aiguo Zhu (Male, 47), and Changpu Wen (Male, 36). They have all admitted to being apart of the defending army when Wintery conducted the Western Campaign.
• The biggest charges these three will be facing is committing terrorism, which clearly falls under the Royal Shield Act. Despite the prince's original claim to pursue the death penalty, he had offered the three life in prison if they were to reveal any vital information such as possible bases their followers could be hiding and the kingdom missed and others individuals who were important. The three refused the deal and had plead guilty, challenging the prince to have them executed.
• They are being held in isolation within the prisons held specifically for those who violate the Act. They will receive no contact with anyone besides lawyers and guards.'

The following is updates on the current reconstruction of the southwest part of kingdom.

• Despite initial hesitation, volunteers were finally allowed to enter the initially attacked area but only within restrictions and had to be subjected to searches. This has lead to clean up and rebuilding going quicker than expected and now the area is cleared for Residents to return. Warning as air patrols will still be around with the earliest time of them leaving being when the empress returns to the capital. Also, no crossing into the new region yet, even to volunteers.
• The new region's rebuilding effort is going smoother than expected although reports of military personnel being attacked by locals within the bigger cities have been reported. Injuries have been reported but nothing too serious. Action against protesters are to only be taken if they become violent. Deadly force is to only be used in extreme cases
• The exact location of where the empress is staying in the region is being kept secret for security reasons but there have been no reports of trouble for her.
