Queen M II
How long does it take for the effects of a nuke attack to wear off on a city?
Shiho Nishizumi
The radiation tab in-game claims that 8 days, but that's bogus. For me, it usually takes 14+ days for it to wear off. Maybe land amount has a hand on radiation's duration.
Administrators Alex Posted January 14, 2017 Administrators Share Posted January 14, 2017 Where does it say 8 days? The effects on a city diminish slowly over time, and are not removed completely until 11 days after the nuclear attack. 1 Quote Is there a bug? Report It | Not understanding game mechanics? Orraine
Never. The radiation wears off, but the scars never do.

Administrators Alex Posted January 14, 2017 Administrators Share Posted January 14, 2017 The radiation index is separate from the effects on an individual city when it is nuked. Quote Is there a bug? Shiho Nishizumi
The radiation index is separate from the effects on an individual city when it is nuked. Perhaps it'd be a good idea to update that page with the amount of time it takes for radiation (well, pollution) to wear off in an individual city? Greatnate
Is there a certain amount or percentage radiation goes down each day? It decreases linearly over the 11 days.
