We'll be here with some announcements for this month so get your pens up and start taking notes! *he grins at the reporters* *looks at him and giggles* Well, we have big news going on in India as the Federation has successfully invaded and established a foothold in the region, colonizing major cities such as Chennai and Mumbai. The main reason for this is that, due to French taxation over the Suez Canal and major ports in the East Indies, air travel has been deemed a more profitable way to transfer goods and people to The Federation and it's overseas territories. The cities of Mumbai and Chennai will be the transport hubs that will connect The Federation and her colonies in East Asia. Without French taxation and decreased transport time, trading goods by air will be expected to generate 30% more revenue, which can be used for even greater infrastructure projects for the people! *the crowd suddenly breaks in applause as she says that* I have designated Mister BhÄrat GanarÄjya, an Indian native and a respectable business trader, to be the governor of the Indian colonies. I believe that his popularity among the Indian natives can help us create a bond and ensure that racial harmony will be created. We do hope that our ties with our colonies can help us generate more income as well as advance us further into the future. Thank you for listening. *bows and receives an applause, before Gilbert takes over* Much progress has also been made in East Asia this month. After the Federation gave Rokkenjima the state of Hong Kong in exchange for closer ties, plans have been made to create a 'megacity' that will stretch from Macau to Hainan. Ports will be upgraded to allow it to serve more vessels while thousands of residential neighbourhoods and high rise buildings will are being planned to house an ever growing migrant population that will work in the trade and manufacturing industry. Recently, Federation borders have been considerably expanded to take in the major city of Guangzhou.
