Assyrians-Kurds-1000x640.jpg

Last week I just read this article about how Kurds aren't innocent or good as the MSM potrait them. In the article it stated that Masoud Barzani is a corrupt and authoritarian leader of KRG. It also stated that the KRG are lying about the condition of the Assyrians in the KRG which is portrait as having good condition there.

For the Article here's the link: //1001iraqithoughts.com/2016/05/10/the-kurds-everything-you-didnt-know-the-plight-of-the-assyrians/.

There are also videos made by some Assyrian groups in youtube about the Kurdish oppression and the vandalism of the Kurds in ancient Assyrian buildings. The channel who uploads those videos in YT is "The Voice of Free Assyrians".

Here is some of the videos of the YT channel about Kurdish atrocities on Assyrians:

What do you think about the Kurdish atrocities on Assyrians?

If this trend keeps up it will just be perpetual war in the Middle East. But that's what the American war machine want, don't they? All these arms manufacturers must be raking in the dough from contracts. Crony capitalism at work? You be the judge

LMT, NOC, RTN, and another were really high today. They are raking in dough.

Show me an ethnic group that hasn't committed historical atrocities in the middle east and I'll be in favor of funding a NASA project to explore their planet. I mean damn, it's not as if the Assyrians are a beloved race of high minded elves with a history of treating their neighbors equitably over the last four thousand years.

Why would you focus on atrocities committed by the ancestors of the Assyrians thousands of years ago when you have recent atrocities against them? Its like saying to the Greeks that they shouldn't complain to what the Turks did to them because in the times of antiquity the Greeks slaughtered people from Spain to India.

We don't really have a way of impacting the region without going through and killing a bunch of people. Which in itself isn't a bad thing, but if the entire point is to avoid atrocities it won't really move the ball forward. Either we will have to commit them ourselves or we will have to empower others to commit them, as you see now with our policy of having armed the Kurds. I'm not strictly opposed to interventionism, but doing so on the basis of avoiding the use of force by others doesn't make a lot of sense.

There's actually an article in Breitbart on which Kurds would be armed by US. Sadly they didn't mention that the Peshmerga's Commander in Chief, Masoud Barzani is a friend of the Turkish President Recep Tayyip ErdoÄŸan. The PKK and YPG are leftists with PKK being marxist. Anyway here's the link: http://www.breitbart.com/national-security/2015/12/16/the-real-kurdish-question-when-gopers-say-they-want-to-arm-the-kurds-who-do-they-mean/

Wait, is the implication that if they were to the right of the political spectrum that the conditions in the region would be different somehow? What you are talking about isn't a matter of inherent political ideology and more to do with multiple sects and ethnicities wanting the same land and the same resources.
