Foltest
It seems like a simple economic incentive would work well to induce competition between alliances. My thought is to do a tiered system. #1 gets a 10% income bonus #2 gets a 9% #3 gets an 8% 4-10 get a 5% 11-15 get a 3%. Or something similar. This is basically just giving people a permanent treasure which has already proven to generate competition, but you can't win it through raiding alone. The fact that it's just another treasure bonus means that it won't break the game by giving the #1 alliance a ton of extra income either. So, for instance, this could give people a reason to wage war on neutrals. This would also give neutrals a reason to fight back and retain a spot in the top 15. (in our current situation as of this post) It would give people a reason to dethrone TEst. It would give Syndicate-OO a reason to compete with each other. It would give ParaCov a reason to rebuild. Etc. It basically just gives another actual in-game reason to want to compete rather than just exist. Peacity Peace
Eh, there's already too much incentive to join a big alliance, i don't think we should give more reasons. Although it would be interesting to see how this would change the game.

The creation of new alliances would also not be seen as incentivizing as joining a top 10 alliance. Bad idea.
Kastor
Very bad idea. The top alliances would hrow faster than the smaller alliances and we'd only go down to around 25 active, relevant alliances because of this.
Hooves
I think this was brought up before. The main argument is that the top alliances already have huge new member incentives. While also having the most score no matter what their reasoning. This would simply hurt any chance for new alliances to track any members whatsoever. PackAnimal
What about the opposite? Every alliance outside the top 15 gets 5-10% income boost, gives a incentive to have more relevant alliances, links to a more interesting, diverse game. 1 Quote Mans two modes of existence can be thought of as his light and dark side. So alliances can split up into small parts of itself? Example: Black Knights, Black Knights 2, Black Knights 3 Would be even more silly. Avruch
Being in a top alliance is its own bonus. Also - it would just encourage huge alliances with lots of zombie members. Blobs would blob together to be bigger blobs. Overall, not a good idea.
