Before Continuing...

Recommended Posts

Before continuing I thought I would discuss it here, I was going to discuss it with the mods but they're pretty much useless.

As here: https://politicsandwar.com/forums/index.php?/topic/15831-a-new-age-begins-we-now-control-all-waters/page-2#entry266563 I was unjustly given a warning point.

You must roleplay within your means - by that, I mean you must make reasonable posts and requests. You are not allowed to take control of other nations without explicit consent from that nation leader, and posts like "I invade you and kill all your stuff" will be removed.

I know the rules very well and you do not, nothing I did involved another nations property. Your simple minded response "Since this is what you did, the thread is now locked." is not appreciated since it didn't cover what I did.

I made very clear I invaded no nations, didn't take of their land and I didn't kill their stuff. No where did I mention that I did any of that to a nation.
All I did was control the waters no one owned with my kick-ass military which is more than capable of doing so. It is certainly within my means to project my power and totally reasonable given my nation is super strong.

I think I made it clear now how wrong you're, unlock my thread, remove my warning point and apologize in my thread for your mistake.

There were multiple users who reported your posts, all who came to the conclusion that you broke the rule on roleplaying within your means. We had two mods who agreed with those various user reports. So there is nothing to apologize for on our part: you blatantly broke the rules. You can either learn from this or ignore it. But if more users complain, we are going to treat those reports accordingly.

All moderation decisions are final.

I can counter and did counter everything in the rules so I know I haven't broken any of them. You haven't made any reply so far countering it.
There were multiple butthurt people upset that I could do what they couldn't due do to my superior military force, just because more than one were annoyed doesn't make them right. That argument isn't logical at all.
The rules weren't blatantly broken since you continue to not specify what I broke specifically and how, quoting a rule and saying nothing of substance doesn't answer anything.

No rules were broken, I am going to continue to roleplay the way I have being which is within the rules. You can ban me or whatever but incompetent moderating isn't going to make me give in.
If this was justified and you were logical then I wouldn't have minded but this level of moderation is too poor for me to ignore.

It seems butthurt levels were broken and not the rules, no exact point was specified as to what I broke both by this useless moderator who I never seen before yesterday and by morons like Tiggera and others.

Ultimately I'm going to stick within the rules and that is to say everything will carry on from where it left of, if you have a problem you can either be butthurt and complain or suggest making better rules which actually include what I did.

I'm no mod but I am pretty sure this is not allowed:

As you can see, it effects the nation of Hequ, Order Of Humanity, Thundera, San-Florence and multiple others. Did you have full permission from each of these nations to do this? No. Is this within your means? No. So you did break a rule. The rule that states you must stay within your means. The rules do include what you did.

So the warning point should stay with you, learn that your locked thread is your fault, and apologize. For your mistake.

ya my military has the right to go through the water you"control" to get to my Cuban colony,

Just realized I am labeled as a rebel state lol

Lightning,

You did in fact break the NatRP rules.

You must roleplay within your means - by that, I mean you must make reasonable posts and requests. You are not allowed to take control of other nations without explicit consent from that nation leader, and posts like "I invade you and kill all your stuff" will be removed.

As a general rule of thumb, you should consult the other person you're interacting with when involved in two-way interactions when there is no in-game precedent. For example, if you win a war against someone in-game, you're welcome to make a roleplay post about how you won the war, but if you do so with no in-game action and the other player has not given consent, your post will be removed.

Any rules not explicitly outlined in these sub-forum rules will be subject to Moderator Discretion.

3Strike Rule

In efforts to route out the unwanted posts that do not follow the rules of this specific forum and the entire community, the National Affairs forum - more specifically for Nation Role-play will now have a 3Strike Rule.

3Strike Rule Breakdown

1st Post in Violation of NatRP & Community Forum Rules: Verbal Warning + 1 Strike

2nd Post in Violation of NatRP & Community Forum Rules: Warn Point + 1 Strike

3rd Post in Violation of NatRP & Community Forum Rules: Warn Point + 1 Strike & NatRP Ban

It is to be assumed that this rule will deter future unwanted posts as we do not want to have to remove anyone from enjoying the National Affairs forums. This rule is made in efforts to clean up this forum and make it more enjoyable for the community. That being said, there will be no exceptions to the rule - 3 Strikes and you are most definitely going to be out.

Failure to follow these guidelines can result in a verbal or regular warning based upon moderator discretion.

Those are the NatRP rules. Your post did not meet the logical reasoning. You basically stated: "We own half the oceans, we will destroy you if you trespass on any ocean". Your nation does not have the means to control half the Atlantic ocean.

What I did was entirely reasonable because my military is more than capable to control that area if not 1/4 or more of the entire globe. I would say probably 1/3 at least, 1/2 is probably being too ambitious but considering the competition its not that hard. As it stands I only took control of a small section with my incredibly powerful military.

Everything concerning the logic of situation says I wasn't even close to taking as much control as I could have.

All in all this makes for very boring RP where everything is planned prior even in situations that doesn't directly affect another nation.

My nation has more than enough power to control the oceans. But fine I will limit it to just small sections that are important. I'll post it to you in a pm so you can either prove it or deny it until we find common ground. Ultimately that's what I am going to have to do anymore.
