The Seven Kingdoms, and we believe most of you as well, have noticed stagnation setting in around us. Orbis is in the doldrums, and it's time to fill our sails with wind and move forward once again. In the interest of keeping the game dynamic and lively, we are making some major changes in our foreign affairs to create a new foundation for our future. The Seven Kingdoms hereby announces the closing of our MDPs with The Syndicate, MensaHQ, and the New Pacific Order. Our alliances with The Syndicate and MensaHQ has been long, and we are proud to call them friends, but we have a new adventure ahead of us and we must embark on it now. We honor and respect their valiant spirits and the close relationship we have shared over the years and hope that we can still call them our friends. We have also been allied to the New Pacific Order, unofficially for a year now, starting from before their declaration of existence, and we have enjoyed a strong bond with them. However, for the same reasons as our separations with The Syndicate and MensaHQ, we are venturing out to try something new. I also hope that we can maintain professional and friendly relations with them as well as time brings forth changes in the world of Orbis. These changes are by no means a negative statement towards our long time allies, but like plate tectonics, shift happens over time, and sometimes shift creates whole new continents. We pray to the Seven to guide us in the new world that we are shaping. The Treaty of Thorns Past Many wars have come and gone between the armies of Westeros and the armies of the Field of Thorns, but surely the fields of battle must grow with life once again and be reborn. Where once there were enemies, now shall there be friends, borne out of an ancient alliance torn asunder by rivalry but rejoined once again. The Seven Kingdoms and Rose hereby unite to usher in a new epoch of peace and prosperity. Article I The Seven Kingdoms and Rose, referred to hereafter as the Signatories, come together as friends, and shall not raise swords against one another. Article II Should either Signatory come under attack, the other Signatory pledges all necessary support. This support is waived should it become necessary due to a Signatory's obligations towards, or actions undertaken on behalf of another kingdom. Article III The Signatories agree to send scrolls as necessary to ensure the success of the partnership, and to refrain from actions that would damage each other and this alliance. Article IV This treaty may be cancelled by either Signatory at any time. Such cancellation will take effect 72 hours after notice of intent to cancel is provided. Its nothing against our current allies, I still have extreme respect for Mensa especially for standing by us through some of our toughest times. But at the end of the day, we make our choices based on what we would find the most fun as players, and not just by who we like the most as people. And while we've always had good times riding by Mensa, and somewhat more recently t$, we were getting bored with the pattern that was emerging of essentially fighting the same war over again. Hopefully this will shake things up, and good or ill for our future, it will certainly be interesting. Honestly, you guys should've just gone paperless again, perhaps then Tenages would come back and save you all. On this I agree. I've only talked with Gandalf a few times and not recently, so not sure what you are referring to. But I'm being honest Buorhann. You guy's have been pretty vocal about your opinion of Rose, lol.
