If you have any suggestions for the reddit thread please I'm all ears. Forums are still a mess, but that largely has to do with the fact that we have a very low number of players atm. Description:

JordanMC is a semi-vanilla survival server that emphasizes friendships, creativity, and fun! Every player on our server is a friend of someone else, and has been personally invited to join our community: until today. We're a small server looking to grow, and we want players who are looking to grow with us. We employ an autorank system that rewards players for their playtime with additional ranks, and we also have a donator rank. This rank doesn't offer game breaking benefits, but rather is a thank you with a couple additional perks (like the ability to /fly and /feed).

When you first join our server, you're classified as a Newcomer. Once you've been playing for 2 hours, you rank up to a Citizen. From there you rank to Townsman, Representative, and finally Mayor. Truly helpful community members are invited to become Helpers, which while not specifically staff, they're the people we want to recognize as truly integral to our community.

Rules:

Most of the rules are pretty simple. Don't be disrespectful, don't be intolerant, and don't grief. We do allow non game-breaking mods, and our staff is happy to link you to staff authorized mods you're free to use. The only non-normal rules we employ that deserve special mention here is that we don't allow iron or gold farms, and we don't allow you to start a build within 200 blocks of someone else's build, or end it within 100 blocks of their build. All part of being a great neighbor!

Economy:

Our server does have economy plugins, which help facilitate trading between players. This deserves special mention since you never have to interact with another player to become the richest player. We use the Jobs plugin to allow players to earn in-game money by mining, chopping trees, farming, fishing, and more. When you join our server, do /jobs browse to learn more. You can also earn in-game money by referring your friends to our server, with more information on our forums.

Plugins:

RandomTP - you can randomly tp
SleepPercentage - only 50% of the players need to sleep to change to day
Lift - it's a basic elevator system
Jobs Reborn - earn money by performing tasks
SilkSpawners - silk touch and pick up spawners
ChestShop - set up shops to buy and sell
FastCraft+ - makes crafting so much easier and less time consuming
Votifier - earn up to 50 iron ingots daily by voting
Grief Prevention - it's the gold shovel protection plugin
... as well as Anti-cheat & Administrative plugins

No mods are needed, but you're welcome to use non-cheaty ones if you'd like.

Updated OP, added a some new information, including the fact that the server now uses FastCraft to make everyone's lives so much easier.

We added a new member to the team, she does an amazing job covering the mid-shift between when I crash and when Jordan comes on.
