  1. 1. Which one of these two would you vote for

There are 2 other ppl running for president :P

And neither of them have a snowball's chance in hell of winning (although Gary Johnson will have enough votes to tip the election in either's [probably Hillary's] favor).

So, the guy who managed to bankrupt, like, 5 casinos?

Five casinos compared to literally hundreds of other success business ventures. I'm sure you do everything 100% perfectly without flaw ever- because that's exactly the standard you're holding Trump to using that argument.

But it really doesn't matter much because we have the stupid electoral college instead of direct popular vote.

WE NEED AN AMENDMENT! POPULAR VOTE! NOT ELECTORAL COLLEGE!

I used to be all excited about this when I was like 16.  Then I discovered that it actually does not matter so I stopped caring.

Wrong. Trump and his suurogates and supporters tout his business record as the biggest reason we should vote for him, but never are willing to talk about his MANY failures, Trump Airlines, University, Vodka, etc. Unfortunately, the argument that "he only had a few failures out of hundreds" fails to realize that when you run a country circling the drain into bankrupty that you don't get to take your ball, go home, and start over...

Once again, all those examples you've mentioned are special cases. He has hundreds of successful ventures to a handful of failures.

If you want to use the argument that all of his successful business practices are null because of his handfuls of failures, then you must apply the logic everywhere. An electrician isn't fit for his job because he once wired something incorrect despite having a history of quality work. A politician isn't fit because they once made a bad call or voted wrong on a certain bill. A solider isn't fit because they forgot to properly maintain a certain aspect of their weapon.

Trump has had failures, yes. The business world is temperamental and Trump is an ambitious man. Such failures are going to happen. However, if you want to describe fitness for a position by having a 100% success rate without failures, you're going to have a bad time.
