Because someone will probably ask:

I did intentionally leave the captcha on the war declaration page, because some players were using scripts to automatically declare war on players as soon as they left Beige. The current system is better configured to discourage trade/baseball botting, but is not particularly effective against something like a War Declaration bot that just needs to do one action.

I've already been flagged as a bot just by looking at war stats :(

Does this affect things like scraping? I've got quite a few things that scrape for information not included in any APIs for example bank transactions, tax records, and war stats. I see the point of having captchas for things like declaring war, trading, baseball games, etc, but for everything seems a bit excessive.

Edit: Just ran my war stats script and got a bunch of errors. Logged in and had to complete the captcha. Pls Alex, for the love of god, don't take away my stats scripts :(

This. Captchas should be for doing actions (excluding searches), not just loading any old page.

This is great news seems though so many of the captchas I've been getting lately have been quite inaccurate, eg. apparently 'store front' is synonymous for 'anything that resembles a building'. Also it often seems to think roads are rivers. How are these captchas even made?

It'd be nice if I a robot could figure out these captchas.

OOC: Good job, will definitely be convenient. :P

We have seized the means of production. Though union, and self-governance, we have organized between all peoples of the land.

The captchas are a problem honestly.

Easy now to have a script that does baseball.

You can just have it run, when it encounters a captchas, just go back a page, problem solved for the script.

I don't know how scripts work, but I've pressed the back button on the captcha page before and it just redirects back to the captcha page.

You try that and let me know how it works

They're served by Google; I'm not in control of how they work.

Reduced the revenue from baseball?

Well, I see the golden age of baseball lasted almost exactly 12 hours.

Yeah, it'll be back to 101 people trying to host baseball games at the same time. At least prior to the reduced winnings, it was actually worthwhile playing away games.
