The Lazarus Project, one of the companies most expensive projects, is nearly complete. Hired by The Admiralty Board to rebuild their best Commander, the Corporation has been working diligently on this project. With billions spent on this project, Corporate Office has increased prices of their healthcare services, electronics, and healthcare insurance rates to cover the cost to ensure our scientists and doctors receive proper equipment, living costs for our associates, and to cover salaries. Lets go into small details of this project shall we? The Lazarus Project as stated earlier was started to rebuild a man who has died in a surprise terrorist attack. By the time his body was discovered, he was rotting away and we were unsure if we were even capable of completing this task at hand. However, with promises from the Quarian Government, if we succeed we will receive a permanent spot in the Conclave's Economic Council. We started with using a sap -which is classified information- that basically jump started the cells within. With cells coming back to life, we inserted implants to revive dead tissue and organs(i.e the heart is now fully functional and has a steady heartbeat.). The brain was intact when found and we are hoping when the Commander wakes up, he will have his memories and cognitive skills. Lets have a look... The cost to build a facility costed the Company around $580,000,000.00 especially since the facility is located off-planet and hovers over Mars to ensure top security. Over there we only have a budget remaining of 420,000,000.00 The cost of equipment was around 100,000,000 leaving a budget of 320,000,000.00 Salaries differ but the average cost for year employment for the Doctors and Scientist was : 250,000,000.00 which left a budget of 70,000,000.00 left to work with. Fuel and constant supplies equaled to be 65,000,000.00, which left a balance of 5,000,000.00 The 5,000,000.00 easily was spent on Surgical equipment. The Project then goes into a deficit, and caused the company to divert funds to the project(the funds originally came from wealthy politicians that want this man alive) which costed the company of 2 billion dollars. To recoup the lost, Corporate decided to raise prices on our services. The raise in prices is expected to drop again in about 5.5 years. The project is nearly completed, so Corporate decided to make the project public, and will be opening a service to revive the dead on-planet as long as the project is a success, and we already see progress. The body of the Commander is stable. Heart beat is stable, and we showing a healthy level of brain activity. Only on facility has the T-Virus which is kept in a top security room, where nobody has access to except for the A.I. unit.
