I suppose Imperialistic describes a lot of it, its early days but I'll be building on other characters. It is a very personality based nation, many different significant people.
Describe yourself in OOC terms: In terms of role-playing I take it seriously enough, I care about other peoples positions.

Have you read, and do you agree to abide with, the rules? (Yes/No): Yes

Where on the map do you want to be located?  South America, my map already shows the location and areas.

(Map-wise, you're limited to a maximum of 50 provinces. If you go higher than that, I'll personally adjust it down until it's at 50, or ask you to re-do your own example until it fits within the 50 province limit. Note that expansion is allowed, but at a maximum of two provinces per month as to be as realistic as possible.)

Expansion beyond 50 at a rate of 2 a month?

If not then I don't accept that as I only have like around 30 or so provinces, two a month won't do at all.

I've been considering allowing nations under 50 provinces to expand to 50 whenever they want, then having the two/month rule take effect.

I'm going to have to go ahead and withdraw/abandon my claim. I don't have the time to do this proper, what with an increase in school prep and work.

Alright. I've removed your claim from the map. If at any time you wish to come back, you're more than welcome to.

I'd like to colonize all of Nevada. Silver has become increasingly popular in Meonesia.

Added

I would like to add Taiwan to my nation.

Added. That would be your two for the month of May.

A concern I have regarding expansion: If nations under the 50 province limit start claiming however many provinces they need to reach 50 all at once, it may or may not ruin the realistic side of things depending on how large the land area is. I'd also hate to make exceptions for certain nations if the land area they might claim in this case is small, but larger for another nation. And if I outright allow this, other nations may start try to land grab all at once just because they can. Let me know your thoughts on this.

I honestly think 50 is to big. Like maybe for small provinces, but like for Russia, you could grab like all of Russia in asia and then some if you were allowed to have 50 provinces. I think we should come up with a reasonable sized province and say like you can like 10 times the size of this province or something. But yeah. I considered, since I can still get 50, taking like all of Canada...

This is very small

Describe your Nation IC: The Quarian Empire was created when the alien species landed and taken over a small part of the land due to previously being nomadic due to their homeworld being overtaken by Artificial intelligence machines known as the Geth during the GETH REBELLION conflict. As of today, the QE has its allegiance with the Black Knights. The Quarians are very resourceful. They are masers of engineering vehicles and Genetics(Umbrella Corp. being the largest and most powerful commercial entity in the Quarian Empire).

Describe yourself in OOC terms: I'd describe myself as a peaceful and playful person. I like to have fun while being respectful. I sometimes "troll" to add a sense of carelessness of some FA personnel teams.

You should require some RP to support any expansion. And make clear that you'll enforce some realism, so people with small militaries can try, but should know they wont be able to defend huge chunks of territory.

This is great guys.

I'm glad you guys are offering up your opinions on the RP in this forum. My general rule of thumb is, if you have added RP - it will be a good time.

It should be limited to nation city size as well, take for instance Hequ who doesn't mind role-playing as a 1 city state both here and in-game which I think is fascinating but wouldn't agree with.

But I don't think a 1,4,8 city nation should be taking over 50 provinces. I think they should be allowed to have a certain amount of provinces that they can expand on as they grow.

Military should probably be factor, how are you really taking over land if you can't defend it with in-game numbers but I don't like the idea of forcing people to have military.

Limiting and reducing land claims for already existing nations would improve the longevity of the RP.

I'd also hate to make exceptions for certain nations if the land area they might claim in this case is small, but larger for another nation.

The thing about that is people want the land in the "good" positions, I'm not the worse offender of taking areas where provinces are large, it certainly wasn't my intention as it just so happens that is where my nation has being located for over 2 years now probably.

I will say one thing, The United states provinces look way too small, I assume it was measured off population density to some degree, something looks off about it though.

But yeah allocating a limit based of nation/no of cities and then two a month is probably a better way.

When do we start adding territories  and I like to use this as my flag http://img02.deviantart.net/dfcf/i/2014/130/b/e/the_flag_of_highland_kingdom_by_amateurartworker-d7hvq4w.jpg

Flag added to the map.

It's two per month currently, so you're able to expand whenever you want.

You're correct. They divided each of the states into many smaller provinces for some reason. I'm not sure why. It's most likely that way for many other rl countries on the map as well.

I worded that wrong lol.

I meant the provinces look way too big, USA compared to Europe has ridiculously large provinces around the coastal regions which are most densely populated areas in the US.

Florida for example has population about 4 times as much as Ireland and is twice the size as Ireland but is only three provinces whereas Ireland is 12 provinces.
