Ikhan
The mission was going well at the time, the spacecraft was nearing Mars quickly, well, quickly to us, but slowly compared to the distance to Mars. The Crew was having breakfast in the centrifuge, while the Commander simply sat in the cockpit, sending a message to mission control. He, of course, had to do this a-lot, as the commander of the mission. "Mission Control, we are at approximately 111,000 km from Mars, over." said Mykhail to Mission Control. A few moments passed. "Roger that, Olympus, begin retrograde burn, over." replied CAPCOM to Mykhail. "Once in orbit, you will wait for a few hours in orbit before heading to the lander with the crew... And make sure to be wearing your EVA suits, as you will have to walk to the hab." CAPCOM added. "Copy that." Mykhail replied, trying to save oxygen. "Attention everyone, we are about to begin retrograde burn. Head to your seats, and we will enter orbit." He said to the crew. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ After this, you will post your response, and to anyone reading this that is not already a part, Applications are still open here: https://politicsandwar.com/forums/index.php?/topic/12374-operation-olympus-applications/

Ekejen Luish
As the craft prepares to enter retrograde orbit around mars, the Chief of Science looks quickly through his experiment agenda and realizes that he needs to quickly set up an experiment. A special piece of equipment with multiple seperate containers within, along with data analyzers that connect to the central computers and MarsCloud so he can see the data, are filled with four substances: Water, grape jello, oxygen, and heavy water. He also sets up an experiment where equipment emits sound waves and another piece of equipment measures its speed using the Doppler Effect, as well as newly developed Atomic Disturbances In Objects From Force Or Energy (ADIOFFOE). After setting up the experiments, he slips on his EVA suit and jumps into his chair. Also, it wouldn't be a few moments, it'd be like 24 minutes. You know, for the lag in communications between Mars and Earth. 1 Quote This is very small
