CosmoZombie
It would be interesting, realistic, and useful (I think) to be able to buy and sell tanks, planes, ships, (& maybe) missiles and nukes on the market. For instance, say Nation X wants to build an army and has 25,000 soldiers, but has no steel or improvement slots to build factories or tanks. Well, they can go check the market, where Nation Y has decided that they don't want their extra 500 tanks. So Nation X gets tanks without having to build factories, and Nation Y could turn a nice profit. Heck, this could even turn into a military-industrial complex given enough investment, with nations churning out tanks and planes to sell to whomever they please, especially during big alliance wars and such. Of course, there could be a purchase limit for tanks is 25 x (number of cities) per day, with the 1.5% population limit retained. We could also say that plane purchases per day would have a maximum of 3 x (cities), and ships would be 1 x (cities) per day, with population limits as well. And while we're at it, why not also make a minimum price for bulk orders, missiles, and nukes (this would be the cost in dollars, not resources), and detect & block repeated small-number transactions? So watcha think, Orbis? Edited March 4, 2016 by CosmoZombie Quote Just kidding, brats are the wurst.

johnl023
Alliances could easily exploit this by granting huge amounts of units to their lower tiers. Maybe if the ordinary limits (building space, max amount of units) were kept?
CosmoZombie
Of course, I should have said this earlier: Purchase limit for tanks is 25x(number of cities) per day, with the 1.5% population limit retained. Plane purchases per day would be a maximum of 3x(cities), and ships would be 1x(cities) per day. Quote Just kidding, brats are the wurst.
El Commander
This sounds dubious. It'll either be too underused cos its not worth it or it'll be abused too much. Maybe you could buy missiles or nukes? But have a minimum selling price for both. CosmoZombie
Just no way too easy to be exploited Alliances could easily exploit this by granting huge amounts of units to their lower tiers. Maybe if the ordinary limits (building space, max amount of units) were kept? Right. I meant to add some stuff earlier, but I was typing on a time crunch. There would be a purchase limit -- for tanks, 25 x (number of cities) per day, with the 1.5% population limit retained. We could also say that plane purchases per day would have a maximum of 3 x (cities), and ships would be 1 x (cities) per day, with population limits as well. Other sensible things to do would be having minimum price for bulk orders, missiles, and nukes (this would be the cost in dollars, not resources), and detecting & blocking repeated small-number transactions.
