  1. I've posted national news here since early 2015 and this is the first time some of the (newer) people have said anything. Anyway, since the others aren't doing it, I will: congratulations me on such an accomplishment! Not many people take nukes this early in their nation's life, so we are proud to defend our alliance and our people.
  2. No, it's not.
  3. At just 37 days of age, Valenwood is one of the youngest nations on Orbis to receive a nuke from an Arrgh raider in defense of their alliance. On 12/06 at 0639 game time, Mayor of Calondia (Arrgh) sent a nuke into the Valenwood town of Elden Root, killing over 130,000 Elven civilians, and making the area a nuclear wasteland for days to come. After the bomb was dropped, Valenwood accepted the peace offers of Calondia, and it's citizens immediately started rebulding the town of Elden Root.
  4. Neither do you, nor does anyone else. The vote has already begun. Only the results from that poll will be honored.
  5. Yeah, no. The original vote still stands. Nobody has the power to nullify it after it's already started, and it if it is "cancelled" by some baby who only agrees with a democratic process when they and their people win, then we will just honor the results as they were just before it was "cancelled" and those will become the new results.
  6. I mean if someone RP's as a nazi they are admittedly fair game to get ZI'ed into eternity in this or any other game. Generally, normal people don't RP as nazis, though.
  7. You do realize that INQ and Syndi have only gone to war once, right? Once.
  8. Shoutouts to *clears throat*: Restius: man we had a ton of adventures in trying to manage CS together. Never a dull moment. Thank you good sir. Senatorius: we were on each other's side, we fought against each other in a war, we were on each other's side again, we co-managed CS, never a dull moment, very good times. Les Paul Supreme: you're not reading this but I follow your world travels on Facebook. You'll make a great doctor someday. Thank you for everything my old friend. Britishdude: I know you probably don't like me anymore, but thank you for that fateful email we all received back in 2014 announcing the CCC's next chapter as Cornerstone. It has been fun and changed my life. Kastor: we rarely saw eye to eye, but man you definitely make the game more interesting and I'm proud to see all you've accomplished and the journey you've made along side so many PnW veterans. Aristide: you have developed as a leader from this game. Great work brother. Glad to serve next to you and you were a great GP. Rache: we'll talk more on FB for sure. You've got this man. Go get em! Beowulf: same as Rache. Brimstone: we didn't talk much but man I'll miss you. Piast: we need to make sure we keep in touch on Facebook or some other SM platform. Always loved seeing your commentary on current issues lol. RedPhx: always loved that we could disagree about RL politics and never once let that drive a wedge between us. Retekan: will miss you man Alexius: great serving alongside you in so many wars Aliyan: I'll miss you too man. When I first saw a Muslim guy applying to CS I thought you must have gotten lost, lol, but it's great having you with us and I'll miss you man. SRD: good fighting next to you in countless wars and learning from you man. Fraggle: love your late night forum rants/monologues. Never change. Curu: you guys were the best allies an alliance could ever ask for. Thank you. Roq: glad to get to know you guys more recently and see that you're not who and what all your haters claimed you were. Great being allied with you guys. Aerys: same as Roq and Curu. Thanks for all the good times. Z1GB1G: come back to us. To those I forgot: I'll miss you too, even our enemies. Thanks everyone for everything, this whole adventure was a class act.
  9. Eh there must be confusion, I'm not personally blaming those who we happen to be fighting this war for him quitting. I'm also not blaming Zeebrus specifically or INH specifically or any one other person. Generally speaking, it's the community insisting the game be played according to their rules and who will do anything in their means to ensure it's played the way they want it to. To me, that's far removed from this war. This war is just a war, there will be more wars (as there should be) and sides will shift a lot for a great many, but if, as a community, Orbis doesn't loosen up a bit, then I predict it will die faster than Bob.
  10. Dude your response further proves us right; the case we're making is that Orbis and the OWF are cancer. You just wrote 12 pages of a thread just to harass the number one player in the game and then turn around and claim those saying it's cancer must be crazy. We'll always forgive those who are being cancerous here, but Orbis as a community has had far more members leave than stay and I started seeing why just before Paperless and it's gotten a lot worse since then.
  11. Yeah, no. LPS hasn't been infusing raw cash into the bank after wars. The extent of his contribution is our 4% tax rate. We have given our friend huge loans for cities in the past and he's repaid them, and that's the extent of what he's contributed. We didn't keep him around just to hand us money because that wasn't happening. As said earlier, we just really like him.
  12. The fact you can't see the irony in that statement in reflection of the rest of this thread further proves Rache right.
  13. Cornerstone's tax rate is 4% at its highest, generally 0% during war. While LPS would be the biggest contributor to that tax pool of any nation, there are generally enough contributors that his nation's contribution isn't make or break. We genuinely like LPS and that's why we want him to stay. If you actually got to know the guy instead of insulting him constantly you'd see why we liked having him.
  14. I only remember one time Mensa was on the receiving end of a dogpile from us and that was a very long time ago.
  15. Ironically I have to kind of agree with Micchan, I'll be rebuilding and getting ready to defend my old friend regardless of the cost and I plan on nuking all the way down, as does LPS and every other member who jumps in. If anyone who attacks him is excited about losing infra on top of any military we may be able to kill then so be it, it will make a good aftershow.
