Before the Laurentian Army regained control. Following the 1990 Flemish Civil War, a paramilitary group, the Flemish Republican Army began a series of Border attacks against Laurentian Border Police. Mounting death tolls forced Laurentian Special Forces to begin search and destroy missions against the FRA. In 1993, the FRA became a rebellious group inside Laurentia. In the ethnic minority's province of Flemish Columbia, the FRA led a deadly campaign of violence against the ethnic Laurentians. The Night of Fires saw thousands of homes and government buildings burnt in F.C., the November Day Uprising then saw the FRA gain control in F.C. before Laurentian Troops recaptured the province. Displacing Hundreds and killing various politicians and civilians the Laurentian Armed Forces launched Opération décapitation. The Operation involved 35,000 Troops, hundreds of planes and tanks in pushing the FRA out and re-stabilizing the province. The FRA was quickly defeated before the group returned to an insurgency force. The FRA launched the 1993 Bordeaux Bus Bombings that killed 38 people and injured 164. In 1994, The FRA detonated a twin explosion inside the financial hub of Marseille killing 204 and injuring 103. By 1996, the FRA has been removed and defeated in F.C. The Laurentian Army relied on mobile units as well as removing the fundamental ideals of secession by both removing secessionist leaders, but also began to pay closer attention to the needs of the people. The Army Engineering Division and Medical Corps began to set up advance clinics and educational facilities. They also began to support the local border police which had often been neglected by the Laurentian Government, and they more importantly put an emphasis on “hearts and minds”. Laurentian General Eichgraf coined the term during the 1996 Defense Hearings in Paris. “We plan to win the hearts and minds of our long forgotten brothers in Flanders, both with rebuilding but ensuring that once we leave they are content with the standards of living and feel attached to the republic”. The plan worked, and in 2001 when Laurentian Troops ceased opération décapitation and handed control back to local police. In 2005, Laurentia and its allies launched Operation Sabre, the quick air campaign devastated the Flemish Government. The Laurentian Backed Flemish Defense Forces seized the capital of Vale Heights later that month. With the FDF in control, the Laurentian Military began to both diminish FRA influence and rebuild the Flemish Infrastructure long forgotten in the fifteen years of conflict. Over 642 Billion Francs would be spent rebuilding the infrastructure of Flanders. An additional 304 Billion Francs would be spent rebuilding the new Armed Forces of Flanders. In late 2017, Laurentia launched Operation Chammal, devastating the FRA and Flemish Forces. The Flemish Republic was overthrown by the Laurentian Backed Flemish Defense Force. Prime Minister Semir Makitalo with the Laurentian DGSE and Flemish Groupe de renseignement secret (GRS) arrested and captured FRA Leaders in the FRP [Flemish Republican Party]. With Chammal ending the official campaign, Laurentian Ground and Aerial Forces remain to crack down on the insurgency and assist the Flemish Defense Force and Flemish Armed Forces in maintain control and end the FRA. 16. October 7, 2017 (Britannian Date) The Holy Britannian Empire once accepting their lost in the Middle East quickly turned their eyes towards the nations of Walpurgis, Amenria, Meta Board and Nihon. It was clear that in a world with other-worldly creatures and Humanoids one must counter them if the need arises. As such, inspired by these nation. The Other Division would be formed. Emperor Lelouch Vi Britannia with the help of the Imperial Court of Britannia picked out only the best to lead the division of 100 individuals. They were to be trained as Special Operatives made to spy on and work inside areas where normal humans couldn't operate. A roster of leaders and active members was drafted up and quickly released to the Britannian Public, only being illegally leaked online for the rest of the world to see if they stumbled upon it. Commander of Other Division: Mei Misaki Second In Command: Demon Prince Asmodeus Phantom: Asuka: Kokichi Ouma: Celestia Ludenberg: The Other Division is expected to enter it's first phase as soon as possible. The Various members are willing to take questions from the foreign press, though any OPSEC questions will be ignored and the media will be promptly deported back to their Home Country. Thank you for tuning in.

  26. You contradict your own argument by saying that "The position you've taken makes it easier for a select few" whilst also claiming "If offensive spy ops are made harder, it is made harder for everyone.". Increasing recruitment rate of spies doesn't solve any of the inherent problems with the system. It also myopically focuses on single wars and instances rather than accounting for the effect it can have on a wider scale in larger conflicts. Buffing Arcane, reducing offensive spy kills, and adjusting spy casualties relative to spy count (The more spies you have the less you lose) would all be better fixes to the issue than this. All this does is reduce the overall skill level of the mechanic when its employed in larger conflicts, and adds no new strategy. This is just another change in a trend of changes and suggestions regarding the war system that ignores the macro effects in favor of single wars. Also I don't appreciate you trying to infer motive or play politics in game suggestions thread (you pulled the WTF ally card, really?) My reason for being against the change is because its a bad fix. I've been pretty consistent in my opposition to "bandaid fixes" across all suggestion threads regardless of who they benefit or hurt the most. If you want to talk about what is bad for the game, enabling sheepy to half arse every update is probably a good place to start. Don't support bandaid fixes just because they benefit you directly (see I can make that accusation too), support changes that fix the actual root issues.

  27. Foreign Minister Arthur Clark addressed the media today. Many nations appear to be of the opinion that the Reubenian annexation of Yemen was intended to destabilise peace talks between MoG[Corp], Britannia, Laurentia and the SOE. I can assure you that these allegations are false. Now, I'm sure many of you will not accept just one statement, so I've called for a press release today in the hope of dispelling some illusions or queries you might have. There will be time to ask questions, after the official statement is made. First of all, we would like to address the claim that the annexation of Yemen was a calculated move to derail peace talks. This claim is completely false, and insulting to the people of Yemen. Ahmed Haddad was a despicable and callous human being, responsible for the deaths of millions, including his own people, and transforming a region into a chaotic cesspool of injustice, cruelty and backwardness. Reubenia's invasion was to end his reign of terror as rapidly as possible. To claim that we had ulterior motives is to claim that the invasion should have been delayed. To delay the invasion would be to let thousands more die in horrific circumstances. Our annexation simply had the unfortunate side-effect of damaging peace talks. When we realised what we had done, we immediately guaranteed MoG[Corp] right of way to help rectify the situation. We also are aware of Resoria's recent sanctions on us. Since Resoria's justifications are based on false premises, we condemn the irrational and unnecessary action. However, we will abide by the sanctions, so as not to incur further sanctions. Now, are there any questions?
