  1. As Sheepy appears to not be announcing his Changelog Updates on the Forums anymore, I have graciously decided to help him: I also will be the first to submit my proof of who I am. Because this is an awesome idea no one who has a brain can work around... (Obviously people will just use a friend if they want multis and give them a sign to hold, not use Obama, but I am a visionary)So yeah... Final thoughts...

  2. That was... I don't even know who most of the mentioned alliances are. I felt like reading a newspaper for a world I'm not in. Rising Tides and Solidarity of Dragons fit well together though, because both names are extraordinarily stupid.

  3. The sound of the large double doors of the Akorda Palace echoed through the halls as they opened. Kaname, Yuki, Maria, and Seiren had finally returned from their trip to Britannia. They were greeted by the rest of the council as they entered. “Welcome back, Lord Kaname, Lady Yuki.” Ruka said as she bowed. Hanabusa, on the other hand, was more relieved than welcoming. “It’s good to see you back in one piece. Lord Kaname, are you sure that was a good idea? So much could’ve gone wrong.” Kaname and the rest began to make their way through the halls of the palace. After a few moments, he answered Hanabusa’s question. “Yes. It went well. Lelouch and I spoke of many things.” They finally arrived at the throne room. As Kaname and Yuki sat down, everyone else simply stood around the room. Hanabusa pushed a little further. “So, what did you speak about?” Kaname sat up straight, making eye contact with everyone. “As far as official diplomatic business is concerned, we mainly focused on our treatment of humans. Lelouch presented me with his concerns, and actively pushed to ensure that we treat humans with less aggression.” Ruka was the next to ask something. “What exactly does this mean for us?” Kaname answered. “It means that a few months down the road, Walpurgis will be changing its expansion policy to allow humans the option of becoming a vampire and joining us, or being sent to Britannia through the Meta Board.” Maria clicked her tongue and looked away, clearly upset about Kaname’s interaction with Lelouch. Kaname glanced at Maria before looking back to the rest of his council. Everyone wore looks of concern on their faces. Hanabusa spoke up. “Lord Kaname, I believe I speak for all of us when I say that I object to this!” Akatsuki placed his hand on Hanabusa’s shoulder, silently urging him to calm down. Akatsuki then shifted his gaze to Kaname. “Hanabusa’s right. I also object to this, but if this is what you’ve decided, then we’ll obey.” “I know how you all feel. The deal I made with Britannia was a compromise. Lelouch insisted we put this policy into place immediately upon my return. However, I insisted that that was simply not an option at this point in time. Despite the actions that we have been taking these last several months, I’ve not lost sight of the pacifist ideology that I support. You remember it well, don’t you?” Akatsuki spoke again. “It’s been years since we’ve attended that place. I for one am tired of following that pacifist ideology. We may not require actual human blood to survive, but that isn’t true for them…” Kaname exhaled as he looked out the window. “I know that. And that is why there is no such law here preventing the murder of humans and the consumption of their blood. We shall see what happens what happens down the road. For now, Walpurgis will continue with its current expansion policy.” Takuma spoke up. “Speaking of which, Kaname, where will we be expanding next?” Kaname turned his attention to the map. “In addition to the capture of more Russian land, we will be capturing the capital city of Uzbekistan - Tashkent. I’ve already informed Tatsumi that the Shiki will be in charge of this expansion.” As night fell over Tashkent, pairs of blood red eyes pierced through the dark all around the city. They swiftly and silently made their way through the city, targeting anyone and everyone they encountered. Large sharp fangs sank deep into the necks of their victims, rendering them unable to even scream as a result of the pain. As they finished, the body was passed to another until it was almost completely drained of blood. No one was spared. One by one, the population of the city dwindled until none remained. Tashkent, and soon the rest of Uzbekistan, would fall to these creatures. A type of vampire that only appeared at night, and could only thrive off the blood of humans. They were the Shiki.

  4. Could we please limit the number of trades that people can have for one resource, at any one time? No one should need more than 1-2 buy or sell orders, per resource. It might also make the market a bit friendlier to players who don't spend all day on the market and lessen the chance that we end up with a market that's completely run by at most a dozen nations. EDIT: Rephrased for clarity

  5. https://discord.gg/pkwdJgH The Orbis World Leaders Summit is live! The Orbis World Leaders Summit (O.W.L.S.), is a space for the leaders and government members of Politics and War to come together and discuss issues with each other. I will be honest here: I'm not sure how far this will go, but I think it's worth a shot. I believe there is potential for an open forum like this, and so I will host it and run it. We'll see what happens. I strongly encourage only leaders and upper government members of the top 60 alliances to join. Although there are rules and text channel segregation in place to ensure quality discussions either way, it's going to be a big enough of mess as it is.

  6. CONTINUATION PART VI... Many moons ago... He was back in his room, being monitored. 34 hours of surgery, 3 different operating rooms, 27 different surgeons. That was the extent to which medicine had gone to fix him. And now, the surgeons could rest at last, because, for the time being, he was stable, safe, warm. Breathing, heart beating. Yes, he was alive. Critical, but alive. --- "So, for god's sake, do we have any new information?" asked Franklin, a hint of annoyance in his voice. The advisors he had assembled in the room shook their heads. "Frank...", Aaron was cut short by a phone ringing. It was the red phone. Frank picked it up: "Frank here", he paused. "Uh huh, yes, alright... oh thank goodness." He put the phone back down. His advisors were looking at him: "He's alive". The pressured, heavy faces of the 16 or so people in the room lit up for the first time in days. There were some tears, and Frank was not ashamed to say he almost broke down. He was alive, that was what mattered most. -- HIS-DSDH Incident Command Center, HIS HQ "Let's start off with what we know. At around 10:30 AM, an explosive device went off within the walls of the Imperial Palace. The explosion took place in Fountain Square, a secure enclave within the private quarters. The Emperor, who was caught up in the explosion, was transported to the hospital, where he remains. Now, our CCTV from that day did not pick up anyone or anything in Fountain Square in the 30 or so minutes before the package appeared." Dylan Van, HIS Director finished his short introduction. Franklin spoke up: "Dylan, at 10:00 AM, the CCTV network went offline as part of a planned procedure to update the software system". Dylan nodded: "Yes, the CCTV did not pick up anything between 10:00 AM, and 10:30 AM, because it was turned off. The package would have had to have been placed in between those times. HIS has taken the liberty of investigating witnesses, the IPG, at the scene. We have one primary suspect regarding who placed the package. He works for the IPG. His name is Harold Pelican Handsmith." The room froze. Was that not the guard who had been killed by the explosion? "I know what you're thinking, but we've established that it most likely was Handsmith due to messages we found in his belongings. He uses typical AHM codewords to convey that he placed the package. We're not sure how he was able to come into contact with the materials used for the explosion. That is still part of the ongoing investigation." A pager went off. "Emperor, I will send a more detailed briefing within the hour. I have an...incident to attend to in the meanwhile". Dylan paused, picked up his briefcase, and walked out. -- THE PRESENT DAY, Port Royalty Lionsgate Olympus Hospital A motorcade carrying the Interim-Emperor, and other government officials arrived at the main entrance of PRLOH. The IPG was swarming the hospital and certainly most of the outside too. As per usual, the press pack was also present. There was a small podium, with a mic. Franklin walked up to it. "Good morning everyone. I'm happy to say that after weeks of recovery and intensive surgery, His Majesty Emperor Tristar Majestica is alive." There was a pause. "On behalf of the entire country, I would like to thank the doctors and nurses who worked tirelessly, and under immense pressure to keep His Majesty alive. The people in this hospital do a truly important job. Thank you". The Emperor, leading a pack of officials walked into the lobby, up some stairs, and into the ICU. Lying on a stretcher, surrounded by various machines, was Emperor Tristar Majestica. Bandaged, sleeping. He was at peace for the time being. Franklin opened the door and walked in. 1 day ago, Imperial Palace, Port Royalty "I'm happy to say, we have some new evidence. New evidence that suggests a higher level dealing between the AHM-FRA group and how Cobra and that package got here," said Dylan. "The Governor of Scotland, currently on vacation in the Highlands, is about 10 minutes from being arrested. Our intelligence gathering has come across some unsavory aspects to his finances and his anonymous contacts. As it turns out, the AHM, who merged with the FRA, shipped, or should I say, flew, Cobra and other chemicals across from Laurentia over to Scottish Hungadada on the day of the oil spill." Franklin, clearly taken aback asked: "Scottish airspace was closed during that time, Dylan. How did the plane get in?" "Well," Dylan replied "Scottish Hungadadian governors tend to have tactics. He paid §250,000 to one of the air force directors to allow the plane to land. Of course, it did, and through his official means, Argyle was able to transport the Cobra to a local group of AHM sympathizers here in Port Royalty, Handsmith one of them." Franklin just stared. "Go no further. I want all our government resources on this. Murder, bribery, treason. Dear god. What next?" he said. THE PRESENT DAY, Port Royalty Lionsgate Olympus Hospital Franklin, walked, almost tiptoeing to the side of the Emperor's bed. He looked at the peaceful face of the Emperor. The machines were whirring, while others were beeping. The drip of the IV, the ticking of the clock. The Emperor opened his eyes. "My god..." he whispered. TO BE CONTINUED.... (please do not post in this thread)

  7. A voice came from a speaker. "We're awaiting further orders." "The Minnesota caravan marches north and stop at the Canadian border." "Affirmative, President." the voice finally said. Nova closed his eyes as he imagined the hot ocean sand and the salty waters. The east coast will make trade easier since his nation would rely on the Panama Canal. Britannia already have most of the east coast so why should they have all of it? He imagined the cool waters of Lake Itaska. It's majestic beauty of his home. He imagined the mighty Mississippi River, its waters moving swiftly without breaking a sweat. Now he doesn't have to imagine, he can see it with his own eyes.

  16. I'm not here to throw shade at you guys, I love what you do. But I feel encouraged to bring some facts to the table. As you can see per this beautiful sheet, almost fully or fully militarised alliances are the Nuke bloc, Hogwarts, Rose and GoB (Valkyrie has big numbers as well, same goes for Coalition and Spanish Armada, and Bad Company bloc down the list). I don't think I'd be ever doing this, but I guess I'm going to defend Inqusition now. As you can see, they are, apart from Acadia, heavily demilitarised. Most of them run on full planes only (peacemode setup). Some alliances on EMC side have bumped up their numbers up to 20-40%, and we see some unaligned and paperless people doing the same due to tensions. But that is not full militarisaton, nor it is a point of no going back. I agree that IQ and EMC don't trust each other, but in this case, IQ is already demilitarised, there's no point in joint demilitarization when one side didn't militarise in the first place. When that table goes fully soviet, shit is going to hit the fan. However, as of right now, that is not the case. It can change, of course, in matter of weeks or even days. I'm not saying nothing will happen, but at this moment, although tension exists, they are somewhat forced from the NAP expiry date and from sideline events not directly focused between IQ and EMC.

  23. How is it market abuse to have multiple offers up? What's wrong with spamming the market? It makes it easier for people who want to just accept trade offers to have plenty of offers available to accept. I haven't done a lot of market trading in a long time, but when my nation was smaller working the market was a great way to make good money (1-2 million a day) compared to my size at the time. It rewards new and active small players and gives them a chance to catch up to older, lazier players who don't care as much about a million here or there.
