Treaties are exterior recognition of partnership, trust, and good relations among alliances. With treaties, Polaris does not make exceptions, nor will it define one ally as more valuable than another. That quality is, as it appears to the Polaris administration, less than the universal ideal we thought it to be. Therefore, we will cannot accept our treaties being subordinated by other treaties for which we were not consulted, party to, or otherwise notified of their signing. Polaris hereby activates Article V of our treaty with UPN, and provides a notice of cancellation.

I mean I can understand not wanting to keep a treaty if your goals no longer line up or the communication lines aren't what you want them to be. That said, spinning it as being about your treaty being subordinated/played favorites with doesn't make a lick of sense. That's literally what IQ did. You're playing favorites in who you drop for playing favorites.

I haven't been around in forever, but on one of my semi-annual SK check-ins, it was mentioned Mensa had disbanded. I felt honor-bound to pop into the thread. You folks in Mensa were great, and despite whatever ups and downs we had (and lord knows y'all pissed me off sometimes and vice versa) some of both the best, most fun, and maybe the most honorable people I played the game and allied with. You'll always be on my wall of fame and loved. The Oktoberfest with y'all and tS was so much fun from start to finish, but what stands out for me the most, was shortly after we first allied, when my &#33;@#&#036;up led to our whole sphere getting steam-rollered. At the time I suggested to our allies that they disavow me and make clear it was my plan not theirs, save themselves, and there would be absolutely zero hard feelings. Pfeiffer and Mensa leadership just looked at me like I was crazy and rolled tanks with us, got rolled right alongside us. Impossible to forget something like that. This basically says it all. UPN is going through large internal change, democracy has been dramatically scaled back and large internal growth programmes are in place. We're not going to disband, we're not in decline and we're absolutely not moving towards merging. What is also interesting is the predictions some people are pulling out of thin air as to where we are going as an alliance. My advice is it's best not to try and do so, as what some people have said to me seems strangely similar in both inaccuracy and over the top confidence in the theory compared to when people said 'landslide' back in Britain a few months ago - spoiler alert - the "impossible" happened. Everything we are doing is following calculations over possible outcomes, and so far the plan is working better than all expectations beforehand.

The people complaining about a "dogpile" on CF ought to reflect on their own history and their logic. A. criticizing a sound tactic is hilarious. By that standard all the people whing in this thread are 'immoral' and 'pathetic' for dog piling a number of alliances in a number of wars. I remember 9+ alliances hitting Rose at one point. Does that make all of you lot complaining here 'pathetic.?' B. Just about everyone in here whining about the dog pile have done it whether it be following orders or explicit in the planning at least a half dozen times. Come up with a better argument. Right now you're just making us spectators laugh at your hypocrisy and desperation. In a few months all of you will be trying to dog pile an alliance in some global war and I bet you won't t be throwing around the same pathetic rhetoric. Yeah, it is well known that all 44 members of Arrgh have 15+ cities with 3k infra and were in range of the CF nations. I am sure the numbers you presented are enough to make conclusions. Let me give you some better numbers though. 8 Arrgh captains are fighting right now 32 wars against 10 nations of CF. KT sent 3 high tier nations against 4 CF nations on the second day of the war. tTO sent 3 high tier nations against one nation on the second day of the war. Not as sad as Mensa HQ disbanding. My condolences.

Edit: Both sides have come into agreement. tl;dr - Arrgh! recognizes hostilities with Charming Friends. On August 17, 2017, a few days after the expiration of the free trial of Pirate Insurance provided to all alliances by Arrgh, the nation of Peaches, a member of the Charming Friends, declared war on the nation of Sea Country, a member of Arrgh, with the reason of "Stealing yr treasure srry <3". In retaliation, Arrgh sent two nations to declare war on Peaches in defense of Sea Country and launched an assault on another CF nation. These attacks resulted in counter-attacks which caused counter-counter-attacks for which counter-counter-counter-attacks will follow... if they are not pre-empted by anti-counter-counter attacks. As such, Arrgh flies once again its Bloody Banner and recognizes hostilities with Charming Friends. Arrgh has already invited its ... not so charming friends to join us. Edit: Both sides have come into agreement.
