War against the nations of Wakando, Doomania, and Korutsu has finally ended.

Despite the odds heavily favoring the three aggressors, the Land of the Shinkansen has prevailed throughout the conflict.  Superior planning, coordination, and execution allowed defense forces to achieve victory against two out of the three nations, which, until now, had all been predicted to quickly overpower the lesser Shinkansen Self-Defense Force.  A nation that once doubted the ability to defeat even a single one of the three nations now rejoices as Shinkansen military planners and servicemen have achieved outstanding results beyond the expectations of the public and the nation's enemies.

Officially delivering the news of the nation's victories earlier today was Prime Minister racerclc, who announced in a speech during the early evening hours, “The Land of the Shinkansen has once again proven its unwavering resolve by achieving what was proclaimed by many to be impossible victories.  The Land of the Shinkansen has proven its ability to remain valiant and steadfast, no matter the odds.”  The prime minister later added, “Much of this great accomplishment would have been extraordinarily more arduous without the generous support of the nation's allies in this war.  I want to personally thank every governmental leader who helped advise, support, fund, and coordinate with the Land of the Shinkansen to ensure a successful outcome to this war."

As approval ratings for the prime minister reach record highs compared to recent months, racerclc reminds the nation to stay vigilant throughout the remainder of the Sixteenth Global War.  “Many of our allies and foes are still at war, so we must stay prepared in case our enemies choose to carry out further acts of war.”  The prime minister has also decided to set aside May 28, 2021, as a day for the mourning of fallen servicemen and for honoring the military's efforts as a whole.  “The only reason that I can stand here before you today is because of the sacrifices that members of our military have dedicated towards our country," he stated during his public appearance.  "Dedicating a full day to honor our fallen and standing military personnel is the least I can do to honor the great sacrifices they have endured."

While restoring the nation to its pre-war state may take up to several months, record-high levels of national pride and satisfaction within the nation have allowed the people to remain optimistic for the future of themselves and their nation.
