Thousands cheered this morning as senior officials within Terran High Command announced victory against two nations of the hostile United Order of Concordia alliance. War was declared against the Republic of Gordenia and the United Provinces of Luna less than a week ago after reports of attacks on alliance members reached Terran High Command and the Emperor, who decided to enter the conflict to eliminate this growing threat to Terran interests.
A statement to the press was made by the Emperor shortly afterwards: “My people, today our valiant forces abroad have secured our victory against yet another menace to our way of life and the continued prosperity of our Empire. This has not come without cost however as many men and women have lost their lives in these conflicts, paying the ultimate price to ensure our victory. We will honour their sacrifice by continuing our righteous expansion across the globe, destroying any who stand in our way! For the Empire!”
Victory was declared this morning as Terran forces marched into the respective capitols of both nations in a strategic breakthrough operation led by the 1st and 2nd Special Forces Regiments. Throwing the enemy into disarray through the use of coastal bombardment, strategic airstrikes on key infrastructure and the speed of our mechanized forces the Terran Flag was flown atop the centers of government for both nations.
Terran troops were pulled out hours later after the seizure of military resources as compensation for losses suffered by the TAF during the conflict, leaving the Republic of Gordenia and the United Provinces of Luna in a weakened state. This conflict bears many similarities to the recently concluded war against the Oceania alliance in which the Empire was assaulted on multiple fronts, with the TAF managing to push the invaders back to their own homes, making this victory yet another sign of Terran dominance within the region.
