The Justifications of Rimskaya

Hello, dear readers. Today we shall be explaining, clarifying, and quite possibly debunking the blasphemous claims by our enemies and even our allies, that Rimskaya is an Imperialist nation that has betrayed Socialist ideals in favor of a new, counterrevolutionary standard.

To start, regarding the Caribbean and Central America, along with our other expansion. Imperialism, what exactly is it? We have seen the definition numerous times, and it would so seem that is exactly what Rimskaya is doing here. However, let us remind you of our eternal and final goal:

INTERNATIONAL SOCIALIST REVOLUTION.

Now, you can't have that if you don't have the international part, can you? The lands we are claiming are, first of all, not claimed by any other state, and 2nd of all, being treated as fairly as one could imagine. The people in these lands, who perhaps may have never heard of Rimskaya, are greeted as equals. A native on the island of Trinidad, or the Isthmus of Panama, hath the same rights as someone living in Novogo Rima, Cuba, The Mayan Socialist Republic, or anywhere else in our expanding dominion.

So, what say it be? Imperialism? Acquisition? Or perhaps it need not a term. Perhaps it is simply an action, justified by us as necessary to support our importance on the world stage as a politically active state. Remaining in Florida alone was never going to hold us that title. We have expanded solely south, and have decided to leave the Mexican lands alone, along with the decision to not advance further into the North American mainland. We will remain solely where we are and move South only. We also maintain no plans to cross over the pond to Africa or Europe, though we have considered going into the Pacific.

Now, regarding the situation in Virginia, though partially resolved regarding the tyrannical government, it has occurred at the cost of a nuclear bomb dropped on Williamsburg, a terrifying event that killed innocents and peaceful who wished no business in the petty world of our arguments. We will respect the new democratic government, as well as any Catholics who wish to maintain a peaceful stance. However, the armed ones who attempted a fascist takeover, to which the Virginia Left responded with arms, will not and never will be tolerated. Should the Virginian Socialist movement see fit to continue their struggle against the new Virginian government and fascists underground, we will not stop them. That is in the best interests of the people as a whole and for the protection of mankind against greed, and warfare.

Most nations responded to the belief that Rimskaya was backing up these rebels with disbelief, disgust, and hatred, as if they have not themselves been dabbling in warfare, politics, economics, among other basics of geopolitical life. Does Rimskaya not maintain the same rights that other countries do?  To consider that we are in fact supporting Socialists keen on revolution in many Orbis states is beyond correct. Virginia happens to be an exception to the case. Their people acted certainly in our name, but not with our official backing. Otherwise, we would have considered sending troops in once the new government formed, instead of accepting it from our perspective.

In terms of diplomacy and those still acceptant of us, we would like to personally mention Luna. Despite being nuked Azzy knows how many times, facing similar hardships though on a far more militant level, among other travesties, they still persist as perhaps our most loyal and true ally- well, there's also Vulcanities, to whom we say thank you as well though respectably staying back from the chaos. They are one of the few who continue to stand by our actions, maintain no negative opinion of our expansion, our political actions outside the state, and most importantly, our precious cookies.

So, what does this conclude to? Is Rimskaya acting outside what the international community is willing? Perhaps so. We are Socialists after all. And what is the mission of every non-Socialist, both conservative and liberal, fascist, Stalinist, the ignorant of religions, among others? To censor, combat, and stop Socialism AT ALL COSTS- the world-destroying tactics of Nuclear War included.

We are not fazed by your insults, nor by your denouncements, nor by your threats of war. Our soldiers in Tallahassee did in fact find there was a fascist separatist movement in there. What happened to them? They were put on public trial, all of them, the evidence read for all Rimskaya to hear. And what happened? We VOTED on their verdict. Nearly 95% of the population turned out a yes, including the natives of our claimed overseas territories. All members are now facing life in prison without chance of parole.

So, you see, Socialism is not a dividing and chaotic factor, but in fact is one that keeps our nation UNITED, under one people, the Human Race, under one banner, the Hammer and Sickle, with but one goal: The material and spiritual liberation of the toilers and exploited, through the Socialist Revolution. 

Your states, meanwhile, face constant demonstrations, coups, civil wars, instability, and never see an end to it. Have you not considered the lack of unrest in Rimskaya? We have not had a massive uprising in our entire history, violence only coming on the frontlines of our wars, and the Winter Solstice Revolution, all those years ago. Why? Because Socialism WORKS. The people are treated fairly, receive democratic rights in and outside Florida, have the right to a truly fair trial, have total control over the government's stability and impeachment, maintain economic prosperity, and most of all, a reliant force made up of themselves led by their Revolutionary Commissar Democraticus to protect them. I'd like to see where Capitalism has gotten you there. Dauchh, RMR, Nova Mundus (how could we forget you?), even the Chaos Insurgency has had civil wars! Us? Never.
