Caribbean Mostly Claimed by Rimskaya

Democraticus would like to delightfully announce that, aside from the Mundusian territories in the area in the Northern Caribbean Socialist Federation, All of the Caribbean Islands have come under control of the Socialist Revolution and Rimskaya. Each island, or for large clusters of islands, maintains a regional government (Specified at bottom), and any native inhabitants, of which there were some, have been given appropriate representation and equal rights (Along with disease immunizations. We're not gonna let the Conquest of the New World repeat itself there)

As of this moment, our fleet has expanded its operations into the Caribbean Sea, and plans are now being drawn up for  conquest of the Northern coast of South America and Central America. Democraticus sees a lot of opportunity in the agricultural possibilities down there, as well as mining in the mountains, as a decree has been signed by him banning all forms of major deforestation. Should we come across any hostile tribes, we will first attempt negotiations, before possibly trying to actually conquer them.

Also, on behalf of Socialism, we wish to officially clarify what we are doing does NOT qualify at least in our view as Imperialism. Imperialism, by our definition, is active and aggressive conquering of lands, which involves plundering, slaughtering and enslaving native peoples, among other atrocities. On our part, we believe in the International Socialist Revolution, and therefore our peaceful methods fall more in acquisition that conquering. Call our actions here what you want, but by no means are we being violent about our settlement of these new lands.

UPDATE (in response to commentary): RMR, Imperiya was part of our name because of our origins. And our state doesn't have the funds for the Orbis Gods to change it, even if we don't recognize this as Imperialism ourselves. And Dauchh Palki, it's ok if you're on the fence. Just be sure to pick a side by the time we have all of Latin America. And yes, this is EXTREMELY BASED.
