  1. America goes through a bloodless revolution every so often; we call them elections. The American public has the power to vote in or out whichever candidate they so choice. While it doesn't mean that our senators/representatives/etc always do what's in their constituents' best interest, it doesn't mean that we as a people don't have power over them. And for the politicians that don't follow the ideal that their offices represent, they tend to be swayed by public outcry. Of course, The Public would need to be well informed to do that, but that's a topic for another day.
  2. I disagree with that assessment Lambda, but I'm sure if I list out the reasons why, you'll have a rebuttal, so I'll try to end this now. This is a stupid discussion. I don't mean it doesn't have it's place: this is an interesting conversations to have amongst friends or people in RL. But no one's ideas will be changed from this thread, it'll just create fighting and induce trolling. The internet is not a good place for actual debate.
  3. Also, Drew, you're running on a double standard here: you campaigned to have Unkajo removed, and now you want the same rules when he was there.
  4. They do rule the world, just not in some super sekrit group. Wealth=power, and always has: be it when land meant wealth, to when money meant wealth. The wealthy definitely rule the world, but not in some NWO in a shadowy council.
